Why us?
Gorgeous flavour
Flavour is king in our book – it comes before anything. We have a strict policy that our produce must be delicious and taste like it’s supposed to. Also, because we optimize for flavour and not for shelf life or uniformity, you’ll see lots of native and heirloom varieties that don’t make the supermarket shelves.
Unrivalled freshness
On average, our produce reaches our warehouse in Singapore within 28 hours from harvest. After which, it goes through the shortest supply chain in the country and straight to you. That’s zero time spent on the supermarket shelf, and 30–40% longer it can hang out in your kitchen.
Peace of mind
If we don’t feel good about it, we won’t stock it. Everything we source, we source with your health, animal welfare, and the planet in mind. From fine-print ingredients to farming integrity, we do the legwork so that you can rest easy.
Discover new produce
When it comes to sourcing, embracing the seasons and going off the beaten track are our favourite parts. Discover the joys of cucamelon, gooseberry, yacon and other nutrient-loaded fruit and veggies you won’t find in your regular grocery store.
Support the small guys
We actively seek out growers who use positive agricultural practices to heal the earth. By focusing on soil health, biodiversity, and other regenerative techniques, these farms are proof that we don’t have to hurt the environment to feed ourselves. And by buying from these guys, we help keep them going.

Irene J.The quality and taste of the produce is absolutely amazing. I love that there is no plastic involved in the packaging of these products. I have recommended it to many of my friends.
Laura H.I feel that these organic fruits and veggies are a lot better in quality. Ever since we’ve been using these boxes, my family has been eating a lot more fruits and veggies. I like that I can personalize my box before it arrives. The bananas were yummy!
Teresa Y.I like the interesting varieties that are not easily available from usual supermarkets. It feels like produce from an overseas farmer’s market produce except that it comes with doorstep delivery. I love the zucchini, tomatoes, pumpkins and Palermo peppers.
Sylvia C.The box is so delightful! I got the $99 one and it was so deep, I filled my entire fridge with these produce. Also, loving the inclusions of rare items like white passion fruit - so sweet, baby corn on cob as well as white brinjal.
Jeric B.Got my 3rd farm box today! Really happy about the produce so far. Super fresh and organically grown. They do throw in some interesting vegetables. This week was the crookneck vegetable in yellow. They really do taste sweeter than normal veges:)
Yvonne Y.I enjoy the “surprise” element of the box as it stretches my creativity so I get to experiment with different veggies to create new dishes. As I like to make everything from scratch, I appreciate the freshness of the produce.

Why not 100% organic?
While we love supporting organically-certified farmers, we also want to support those practicing good farming techniques but who are not organically certified.
Most of the farms we work with are very small – under 10 acres – and very eager to transition to a more sustainable farming system. They do go to great lengths to avoid pesticides, unlike super large growers, and when they can’t, we can verify that they use them sparingly. We are working closely with these farms to help them make a smooth and effective transition, which has to happen gradually.
Keeping our Farmer’s Box affordable is another major factor. 100% organic would simply price our Farmer’s Boxes out of most families’ reach. We built Talula Farms to impact a wider group of people who wouldn’t normally have access to fresh and responsibly-grown produce.
The good news is, the more people buy organic/pesticide-free, the more affordable it becomes. It’s a journey, but we’re already seeing some positive signs.
Organic, pesticide-free… What’s the difference?
If something is labelled organic, the farm that it came from has been certified by an official third party (like USDA organic, EU organic, and myOrganic in Malaysia) to have met a rigorous set of criteria.
Natural fertilisation; soil, water, and ecosystem protection; high animal welfare; and no growth hormones, antibiotics or GMOs – these are all broad examples of organic-certified requirements. Generally speaking, the more natural and environmentally sustainable, the better.
There are no official certifications out there for pesticide-free. When Talula Farms describes our produce as pesticide-free, we mean that there were no synthetic or human-made pesticides used.
As an alternative, a number of our farmers actually utilise natural means to protect their crops, like kaolin clay powder as well as an environmentally-sensitive approach known as Integrated Pest Management (IPM).

Subscription
How does a Farmer’s Box subscription work?
Begin by filling in this form for a box on us. After you receive your trial box, we will contact you via Whatsapp to kickstart your subscription.
Whatsapp is our primary mode of communication when it comes to our subscriptions. The add-ons order form (which includes options for non-produce items like poultry, seafood, herbs, and dairy) will also be sent to you via Whatsapp two days before each delivery. You will be billed after delivery.
Our delivery windows are between 3pm and 7pm on Tuesdays and Fridays, and you can select which works best for you from week to week.
Our Farmer’s Box subscriptions are flexible, with no lock-ins – so you can cancel anytime.
How long does a box last?
Our Farmer’s Box comes in three sizes, each designed to last a household for about a week.
Our $70 box feeds 1-2pax; our $85 box feeds 3-5 pax; and our $105 box feeds 5 or more.
Is there a minimum commitment period for subscription?
No, not at all. All we ask is that you let us know 3 business days before your next delivery if you’d like to cancel.
How do I cancel?
You can drop us a message on Whatsapp at (+65) 9171 5063.
Delivery
Do you charge a delivery fee?
We do not charge a delivery fee for our Farmer’s Boxes or build-your-own-box (BYOB) orders $99 and up.
For BYOB orders below $99, we charge a $5 delivery fee.
Do take note that our delivery windows are 3-7pm on Tuesdays and Fridays.
If I build my own box, when will it be delivered?
These boxes will also be delivered between 3pm and 7pm on Tuesdays and Fridays.
There is an issue with my delivery. Who can I call?
Please do get in touch with us at (+65) 9171 5063.
What kind of packaging do you use?
We use zero plastics and 100% compostable materials for our boxes. Our carton boxes are made from recycled material, while we use compostable paper bags for our produce inside.
This minimal packaging can occasionally result in the bruising of produce. Should this happen to you, please feel free to get in touch with us at (+65) 9171 5063 and we’ll gladly issue a refund.
